MARKHOR MENTORSHIPS
Markhor is offering a year-long tailored mentorship opportunity in 2023 to one emerging South Asian who is seeking to advance their career in the Film and TV industry in Canada.
The goal of this mentorship is to boost the presence of South Asian stories and peoples in Film and TV in Canada and beyond. South Asians are the largest visible minority in Canada, yet there is not one organizational body advocating for South Asians in film and TV. Our representation on screen and behind the camera continues to be abysmal. MARKHOR seeks to change this.
